Private bartender or cocktail hour?
A bartender request starts with someone preparing and serving drinks for your gathering. A villa cocktail hour starts with the moment you want to create: a welcome drink, a sunset gathering or the opening of a private dinner. The duration, drink selection, staffing and setup should be agreed for either option.
If you are also arranging a private chef, we can discuss the timing together. Drinks before dinner should complement the meal plan, not create competing arrival or setup arrangements.
Build a drinks plan around your group
Share the cocktails your guests enjoy, any spirits or ingredients you prefer, and whether you want alcohol-free options. Tropical fruit, citrus and familiar classics can be useful directions to discuss; the actual menu is confirmed with the service provider rather than promised as a fixed list.
For a mixed group, ask for thoughtfully planned non-alcoholic drinks as well as cocktails. Explain allergies or ingredient restrictions, including anything related to garnishes, juices and mixers. Specific ingredients and preparation requirements need confirmation.

Tell us what your group likes to drink and what your villa already provides. We will work through the supplies and setup with you, including alcohol, mixers, ice, glassware, tools and cleanup, so you know who provides each part.

Check your villa’s provider rules
Ask your host whether an outside bartender is permitted. Confirm access, service areas, visitor limits and any relevant house rules. Permission for a chef does not automatically cover a separate bar setup or additional staff. A meal-delivery alternative does not imply that an on-site bartender is allowed.
Make the occasion easy to coordinate
For a celebration dinner, send the meal time, group size and any special requests in the same inquiry. Decorations, entertainment, equipment and other extras are not automatically included in drinks service. They should be discussed and quoted separately if needed.
