A private breakfast chef lets your group begin the morning together at the villa. There is no separate café run to organize and no one has to take charge of the kitchen before the day’s plans.
Manuel Antonio Table coordinates the breakfast with an independent local chef partner. The chef prepares the meal at the villa, serves the group and handles the kitchen cleanup under the confirmed service arrangement.
Choose a Costa Rican morning or a familiar favorite
A Costa Rican breakfast can include gallo pinto, eggs, local cheese, sweet plantains and tortillas. If your group prefers familiar choices, discuss eggs and bacon, breakfast potatoes, French toast, pancakes, burritos or a frittata.
Breakfast is served family style. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice accompany the chosen breakfast. Extra sides or a wider spread can be discussed before your quote is finalized.
What is the breakfast chef fee?
The supplied partner rate is $120 for breakfast service for up to ten guests, excluding groceries. Beyond ten, the stated additional service fee is $10 per extra guest.
For ten guests, the $120 chef fee is $12 per person before food costs. For twelve, the service calculation is $140 for the group, or about $11.67 per person, again excluding groceries and any other applicable additions.

Match breakfast to the day’s plans
Tell us if you have an early excursion, a departure time or a group that likes a slow morning. The serving time needs to allow for chef access, food preparation and everyone being ready to eat.
Share the number of children, allergies and any guests who need an alternative breakfast. Several familiar breakfast dishes contain dairy, eggs or gluten, so the menu must be discussed around your group’s needs.
Check kitchen access and property permission
A villa breakfast still involves an outside chef entering the property and using the kitchen. Ask your host whether that is permitted, and tell us what equipment and access arrangements are available.
If an outside chef is restricted, ask about prepared meal or breakfast delivery. Availability and delivery suitability are confirmed separately from an in-villa breakfast service.
